Clear Quartz

I am a radiant being filled with all frequencies of Light.

     Quartz is one of the most common crystals on the planet, formed from silicon dioxide, hard and lustrous and good for carving. The clearest varieties are sometimes called "rock crystal," because they are rock-hard and yet as clear as glass.

     Despite our best efforts, we eternally struggle to see clearly, and we can only dream of the clarity within these crystals. Even if our physical vision is unmuddled and we see our hand in front of us clearly, we view the world in a hazy way. We see the people we love through rose colored lenses, and only notice later how they'd been bad; people that we hate, we see with filtered sight, only seeing them as irredeemable because our eyes only see their wrongdoings. 

     “No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Take care then how you hear, for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.” 

Luke 8:16-18 

     Light cannot pass through opaque things; even if the lampshade is rose colored, it still masks some or all of the true light of the Holy Spirit within us. To be children of light and proper vessels of God's holiness, we must set aside all prejudice and paradigms, and see people the way God sees them.

     In that same vein, we cannot let what people say influence our faith and cover up the light in us. There is much, much misinformation about the Lord that surrounds every one of us today. I urge you all to seek resolution to your doubt through prayer, finding your answers directly from the God of the universe.

     "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

John 3:16-21

     The Lord does not pick us out for punishment like people say, but rather, we choose our fate by our faith. He broke the boundaries of Judgement to offer is Salvation, and despite this people still dive into death blindly. Despite the option for freedom, humans still throw their souls away to spite God, and this is why they are met after death with Judgement.

     "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes he who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment."

John 5:24-29

     See clearly the marvel that is God, the great King of everything that has ever been. The Lord gave us a way to live eternally, with our only payment being following Him, rescuing us from our predestined fate of eternal death and judgement without asking for more than faith in Him. The Lord chose to save us because we're His most beloved creation and He treasures each and every one of us. See clearly the truth of His Word, and come to the Great King of heaven.

     "'For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."
